It has a 3/4” thick wood base printed with a permanent 1/2” grid, and dual Imperial and metric rulers that assist with proper alignment while cutting. With a soft-grip ergonomic handle and non-skid feet to keep the trimmer steady while cutting up to 20 sheets of 20lb paper. The hardened steel, shelf-sharpening blade can also cut matte board, cardboard, film and tissue. Safety is a key feature of the heavy-duty trimmer – a patented automatic blade latch locks with every cutting motion, a finger guard runs the entire length of the blade and a torsion spring stops the blade from falling during operation.
